Several of ZNF's infantry regiments are extremely depleted, but they form up to meet the enemy anyway.
One regiment is hit by the cavalry, however, cavalry sucks in this game.
When my forces cross, we are met with their cavalry. This thing would have been a bitch to cross if the enemy had bothered to defend it. With the main threat being sufficiently far away, it gives ZNF enough time to have his army cross the bridge. The main threat of this battle is the enemy reinforcements. Their fortifications are on the other side of the river, on the far East side of the map, while I'm right next to the bridge on the West side. A river and bridge.Ī river and a bridge would have been interesting features for this map, except the inital enemy force isn't even in place to defend it.
